Volunteers are the
heart of Once Upon A HorseÔ. Without their hard work and dedication,
our motto – “WE CAN SUCCEED!” Would just be words on paper.
You
don't have to know a lot about horses to help Once Upon A Horse™. Although
we're always looking for help in our barn, there are lots of ways for you
to assist.
Volunteer opportunities
include:
• Barn volunteers. If you
want to get up close and personal with the horses, this is the job for
you! Barn volunteers feed and groom the horses, clean tack, and muck out
stalls.
• Carpentry and maintenance
volunteers. From mowing to maintaining fencing and everything in
between, our "handy person" volunteers are essential to Once Upon A
Horse™ .
• Fund raising event volunteers.
Once Upon A Horse™ relies on these individuals to help with our annual
fund raisers by serving on event committees and working to produce these
special occasions. Once Upon A Horse™ puts on a annual
Benefit Horse Show each fall and the need for volunteers to help out with
the running of the show is critical to our success.
No
matter what your skills or special talents, there's a place and a need for
them at Once Upon A Horse™.
